My PAS file was accepted – why is the UWI still on the Board’s IO list?

Three separate inquiries in one week makes for an easy blog topic! So, your Initial Pressure Gas (IP Gas) or Initial Pressure Oil (IP Oil) submissions have been accepted by the ERCB – but the UWI still shows up on the Board’s Initial Outstanding list. What’s wrong? A common problem – especially with deviated and horizontal wells – is the perforation interval in the PAS file (mKB-MD) does not match – exactly – the Gross Completion Interval (GCI) in the Petroleum Registry (mKB-MD).
