Welltest 105: Thermal Data Diagnostics

As we can see from the real gas law (pv = nZRT), changes in Temperature (Delta-T) also alter the pressure/volume term, thus affecting #welltest pseudo-pressure and pseudo-time calculations. Unfortunately your #PTA software probably does not  use the thermal data provided by electronic gauges to calculate gas (#LNG) pseudo-pressure and pseudo-time variables. As such, keep this in mind when quantitative results don’t seem quite right. For instance, analytical software might indicate a false radial flow regime, negative skin or a very nearby boundary that can not be accounted for. It could be thermals!
