Road Warrior Milestones: Power & Charging
Working from home is one thing, working from anywhere takes some special gear, know-how, and patience. Road warriors need to know the particular plug types and voltages to accommodate their electronic devices. Most devices charge off transformers, so either 110 v or 240 v power is acceptable. Nevertheless, it may be important for you to power laptops in a vehicle using either 12 v or a small inverter. One unique device that has saved us Canadians heaps of weight, and eliminated a bag full of adaptors, is a North American plug 220 v PowerCube (i.e. not the common 110 v power bar). Now all we need is one (1) universal plug adaptor. We also have one 4x USB charger to simplify the number of things we carry around.
